Some images from the 2022 Waitakere Art Awards. Was happy to win an award for the category of "Looking West". I've been really full out busy lately and its a great feeling when the hard work pays off.

The subject in the painting is of a talented guitar player who is often busking in Henderson. When I took the photo of him for this painting, he was playing in the newly built square at Commercial Bay. But he is often playing outside a liquor store at Henderon. Go check him out :D

It was a really good show at the Trusts Area this time, always great to see the different range of artworks in big shows like this.
